It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted a currently loving image, so here’s a new one today from artist & illustrator Jill Bliss! I was lucky enough to stay with Jill at her house when a few friends and I were in Portland a couple weeks ago. Jill’s home and studio are filled with so many great pieces..here’s a sampling…
WHO…Jill Bliss…a native of Northern California who recently transplanted to Portland, Oregon. Jill has run Blissen Studio in its various forms for seven
years. Whether designing limited edition paper goods and accessories or fine art pieces,
all of her work reveals a fondness for combining fabric, paper, and other found
materials.
CURRENTLY LOVING…
new sunny yellow kitchen walls, vintage fabric picked up this past weekend, my succulent plants that won’t die no matter how much i neglect them, small terrarium/planter of live and dead plants and a mini japanese ceramic house, malin necklace from beklina, limited edition natacha matic porcelain brooch from bijoux jewelry {no longer available}, and stackable vintage dishes bought in l.a. last month.
Beautiful pieces! Love those tea cup handles.
Love it!
I love these dishes. I am getting married soon and just can’t find dishes this cute to register for. Still hunting…
i loved those dishes. and that reminds me: i forgot to cut off a piece of that succulent to take home with me!
nice photo…the colour and arrangement are spot on…
sounds like your stay there was very memorable…

totally inspiring 🙂
i just found out that you’re Thai,
i’m a bit surprised
🙂
I loveee those dishes…and the colors are beautiful.
I´m happy to see a Natacha Matic piece in your blog. I´ve been a fan of hers forever! Thankx.
I have those same dishes and have never seen anyone else with it. Mine came from my parents from way back, and I love them. My palette is much more muted and neutral, but I love the colors of yours. I’ll have to seek some out to add to my collection. Don’t you love the way the cups stack?
I’ve just discovered your blog and am inspiried by both the items you love to write about AND the way they are photographed!
thanks for sharing,
Aly
