If you haven't yet heard about Sundance's new show "Man Shops Globe", add it to your DVR list immediately. The new show (which premiered last week) follows Keith Johnson, found goods buyer-at-large for Anthropologie, while he shops flea markets and shops around the world for merchandise and fixtures for the stores. It's amazing and gives an amazing perspective behind-the-scenes of the creative direction for the Anthropologie brand.

  1. I watched this the other night with my hubs and loved it! Tivo’ed the entire season! My friend, a store merchandiser for Anthro in San Jose, CA, went to the corporate premiere in San Francisco. Lucky lady!
Long-time reader, first time commenter (I think)…we’re connected through design*sponge, though! Love your work!

  2. Thankfully the website you posted the link to is chock-full of video clips, so those of us without Sundance channel can get a fix online.
I remember talking to a fellow illustrator/product designer who worked on a product with Keith Johnson years ago – and I was in awe. It sounded like incredible fun. Now we can all get a peek. Thanks!

  3. Keith is a good friend of my mother’s. (although unfortunately I have not met him myself!) I missed the premiere… but I bet it was glorious. I will watch it ASAP!
