A couple of weeks ago, I hosted the store opening party for the new Kate Spade store in Santa Monica. As a special treat for shoppers that night, I partnered with Kate Spade New York on a limited-edition print of one of my photos, as featured in Kate Spade's Things We Love book. We had some extras, so here's a chance for 10 readers to win a copy of the 8×10 print, which was only available at the Santa Monica event!

To enter, simply visit Kate Spade's site and then leave a comment here telling me something you love about summer. Entries must be posted by this Monday, June 3rd, at 8 a.m. PST, and 10 winners will be chosen at random*.

  3. I love how Summer just seems to bring people together. Neighbors start to emerge from their houses to sit on their porches, and bringing them a glass of sweet tea doesn’t seem as odd as it did two months ago. Friends make day trips to the beach and lay under the vast starry sky as they swap stories and listen to the waves crash before them. Summer is simply magical.

  4. I love the longer days, but this summer specifically I love that I’m ending my summer by getting MARRIED–I’ll be wearing Kate Spade shoes!!!!

  5. i love swimming in the crisp, pristine lakes of New England in the summer, and peonies in June and fresh fruits + veggies and fresh mint from my garden for cocktails on the porch and family + friends get-togethers…the list goes on! love this print : )

  68. I love the summer because this is when my husband, my two sons and I go on a 2 week vacation every year. We pick somewhere different and explore was much as we can. These memories to me are so important. My sons are now 17 and 15 and I love to go back and look at the pictures from all of our past trips and re-live it in my head, memories are so important especially when time goes by so fast.

  140. Summer is the best season! So here are my reasons why I love Summer! I’m a Summer baby being born in June. 🙂 The sunny days are great for going to the beach, sharing picnics with friends, being part of water balloon fights and getting clothes soaked unexpectedly, exploring the outdoors on hikes or water sports, and attending fun festivals filled with crowds of people soaking up the sun! Summer gives some of us ladies who live in the cold regions to be able to wear a bikini finally! I love the bright colors that summer brings out in nature and in clothing, finally I can wear an increased amount of neon without looking too color crazed! Really, I just love everything about summer. 🙂
