Three Ways to Wear Black & White Pattern…

I love wearing pattern, and I am often asked how to wear bold prints when you're scared of pattern or overwhelmed with how to mix them. So, I decided to show you three different ways to incorporate pattern in your everyday wardrobe with a focus on one of fall's trends—black & white. It's all here in my first style video ever! I hope you guys enjoy it!

  1. Love that you decided to branch out and talk in videos – so much more personality and information packed in! They just get better and better. 🙂

  2. LOVE wearing black and white but I often look like a bum trying to layer different patterns. This is a great video tutorial and I’m so glad you’re stepping out of your comfort zone and are talking in front of the camera!

  3. So funny you used this song! They were one of the opening acts at a small concert in Silverlake and I’ve been listening to the EP they handed out…Love your vid!

  4. I really love your “talkie” videos! You’ve got a lovely personality, and great style. Like many women out there, I’m pattern-shy. Now, thanks to your video, I just may take the leap!

  5. How adorable are you? Your personality just shines in this video! Also, I’ve been searching for a varsity jacket just like the one from the first outfit. And it’s from Target! Yay for fashion on a budget, and thanks for helping me find it!

  6. This is a great video! It is very creative I really liked when you described the outfit one by one. Dont be scared, yo really do it great! Good luck.
    I love your blog!

  7. Thank you so much for sharing this video! Usually videos of this kind are boring, but I like yours for two main reasons :
    – I actually learnt something: the key is to mix a large pattern with a smaller pattern so they won’t clash! I didn’t think about this before!
    – you seem like a genuinely friendly person, and you obviously don’t take yourself too seriously. The scarf on your head at the end was a nice touch of humour!
I think video blogging is a fresh and interesting idea, but it is difficult to pull off! You did really great, and I can’t wait to see your next vids! 😉
