  80. Besides the crafting time?? Definitely the unlimited pool access! I’m a swimmer and my daughter is taking swim classes, so any time that isn’t spent being creative is spent in the pool!

  81. Going to the Justina Blakeney session would be a dream come true! And who wouldn’t love lounging by a Palm Springs pool?!?

  82. What a great event! My son is 2 and I love how excited he gets about creating things. He loves building and coloring and I can’t adequately express the feeling I get when he shows me something he’s made with such pride. 99. We have never been to Palm Springs, but it looks delightful! Also, my husband is a graphic designer and this event looks right up his alley 🙂

  100. I would just be most excited to escape the weekly grind and get more family time in. With two working parents it seems like the weekends are never long enough!

  101. I’m so happy to see this because I truly need to have a little getaway with my family. Ive had a ruff two years. My husband is in disability and I’m the only one working, from all that I’ve kept it fun for my little family. I feel having this break will give us a time just to enjoy and take a little break. I can’t wait to just spend time outside and do some fun activities with my family.

  102. Would love the opportunity to win this crafty family trip to let me get some fun R & R with my family. I’m constantly working and this would be a great way to bond with my 2 year old son. And also dad can get involved and crafty himself! Fingers crossed!

  115. Ooh! I would love it all. Underwater photography for me please! And lots of crafting and bonding with my boys. Sounds divine!

  116. This all looks like paradise, but I think I would most enjoy the opportunity to spend quality and artistic time with my family, without interruptions and workday errands that tend to get in the way of focusing on each other. Lately, we’ve been trying to interest our almost three year old in more art activities, and when it works, it’s so rewarding! I’d like to get some tips on how to encourage artistic and creative expression, while also letting go of “expectations” for how things should go or turn out. Three year olds have their own ideas and creative potential, and I’d love to learn how to let that shine. Thanks for the opportunity!

  117. my husband and I love the desert heat! we’d love to introduce such fun in the sun with our new baby girl!

The ace, the palm trees, and sun. Us Wisconsin girls deserve a little warm up!

  120. Nothing better than crafting with my girls and making new friends. Enjoying a little break from the busy city that may include a bike ride and a little shopping in beautiful Palm Springs….and the ACE makes it that much sweeter.

  121. that sounds so damn lovely! My toddler son would probably get lost in a sea of glitter and it would be magic 🙂

  122. Craft Time in the Sunshine with our Little 3 year old! As she gets older, she is more curious and loves making things / projects 🙂

We have never been on a family vacation together so this would be so amazing !

  140. what wouldn’t we do?! to visit the ace-palm springs as a family and spend our time together using our imagination and creativity would be a dream

  141. my girls (3 and 5) and I would love the opportunity to meet and contribute to the crafting community. This is such a rare event and I would be thrilled to be a part of it with them. We haven’t been able to spend time like this together in a while and it would be such a gift.

  142. I’d love to see some Palm Springs architecture and get creative with my little girls!

  143. I love seeing my son’s imagination come to life when we craft together. The smile on his face is his badge of accomplishment!

  151. Creating with my boys in such an awesome atmosphere… I can’t wait to see the Ace.

  152. My husband’s an artist and both our children (3.5 and 18 months) gravitate towards art. They love to color and paint and create and it fills me with joy to see it. I’d love to give them and my husband the chance to bond over this!

  153. After working so hard and balancing work life and family life it would be so amazing to relax, be in the pool and have fun with our little one!

  154. What a great giveaway! Would love to get out of the city and spend quality time with the family. My 3 year old would be in heaven in that pool! And the underwater photography class sounds awesome.

  155. We’re expecting another kiddo in July and this would be the perfect vacation for our little family before our life is scrambled about a bit. And I’ve been researching like crazy for activities for a toddler, all in all this sounds like an amazing weekend.

  156. Succulent gardening! The grow well almost anywhere and I would love to make a vertical art wall with them!

  157. Not only would I be crazy excited for the family time, in general, but since I don’t consider myself the most talented of artistes (!!ha!), it’d be great to unleash a little bit of that and experience that with my daughter and husband!!

  230. Great giveaway! I just want to visit Palm Springs! Been on my wish list for a while.. and to bring my two kids would be even better!!

  231. With parents currently residing in Taiwan and a sister residing in Washington D.C. while I live in San Francisco, a family trip has been long overdue. We sadly see one another once a year, but each reunion is always warm and joyful. We were planning a family trip sometime this year and I believe this travel package in Palm Springs would be great for all of us to catch up and bond. The legendary desert disco at this family retreat seems like a dream. I think it would be hilarious to see my father groove to the music and pulling my shy, conservative mother onto the dance floor. As for my sister and I, we will probably be boogying all night! I think this is such a great weekend getaway and even better that it is geared towards family bonding. I never knew how privileged and blessed I was to have had my family in the same geographical region until we all moved away from one another.

  232. I don’t know if I would like pool time or craft time more. It would be a toss up for my almost 3 year old son as well who loves swimming, painting, decorating anything, and cooking. He would love any workshop geared towards children.

  239. The crafting looks like a ball, and the recreation classes too! The time with the family would be fantastic.

  240. This all sounds so amazing! Especially to get some warmth and sunshine after such a long, cold winter in Chicago. I think my boys would love tie-dying and skateboard lessons!

  367. WOW! I’ve always wanted to attend! I would love the opportunity to go to Crafting Community! Not only are my twin sons and I avid crafters, my sons are mini reporters and TV personalities who cover what’s cool for kids, but they only cover what’s cool in NYC – it would be great for them to experience Palm Springs and do their favorite thing – make art!

  368. We just had baby no.2 and a weekend getaway with our 5 year old daughter filled with art, sun, and fun would put a huge smile on her face!

  375. I just checked the Crafting Community website, it’s such a great consept. But they only offer prices/packages for family of three members and/or any additional child. I’m a single mom of a 3 1/2 year old boy and I would love to go either by winning this contest or buying my own ticket. Me and my boy are in desperate need of some lounging and play time under the sun, since our last vacation was three years ago when he was barely walking.
    My fingers a crossed!

  376. It all sounds amazing! I would love to go with my sister and nephew- the 3 of us love adventuring and took a road trip to PS 6 years ago when he was 3. It was such a wonderful trip, I’d love to recreate the fun we had in the pool but with the addition of sunrise yoga and crafts (and bbq and ice cream and tacos and a stay at the Ace!). My nephew and I craft together all the time, but I would love to get to craft with him without setting up and cleaning up 😉

  377. This would be wonderful for a dear friend of mine, who has a 9 month old and a 7 year old and loves Palms Spring weather and the pool — like a lot! She’s also always looking for craft things to do with her kids.
Hope you would consider me to gift this to my friend Rebecca. Of course, i would also like to go with my family — but my baby just turned 1yo –so not sure if they have crafts for little teensy babes.
    Thanks.

  389. I’ve been wanting to go this event ever since I heard about it a couple of years ago. We LOVE the ACE and have never been back with the kids. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter & 6 month old baby boy. Would be fabulous to go with the fam :))

  390. I just quit my job to be home with my two kids, so this would be amazing for them! We are not going to be able to afford to vacation for a long time…this would be a dream for my family. My little boy is a little merman, I’d never be able to get him out of the pool hahaha 🙂

  391. My mom is the craftiest of the craftiest and growing up she always had us sewing, weaving, drawing, painting, beading and a million other things, all in the school of 70’s funk and flash. I dropped all of that like a bad-habit once I hit my teenaged years and decided that it (and my mom) was too hippie and weird. But, of course, I was wrong and she was right and now I wouldn’t change those experiences for anything. I have two little boys now and I would LOVE to give them the gift of craft and the joy of making things with their own hands. Doing that at the Ace in the hot sunshine would be the best thing in the world. Thank you!

  392. I’d be excited about eveything about this event especially the family craft time! Thank you for the wonderful opportunity!

  406. When I saw your post today, I felt it was meant for me!
Last night, I got back from a grueling long business trip and my joyous 8 year old daughter took such good care of me. She gave me the sweetest massage and read me a bedtime story so I would relax. As I drifted to sleep, I thought: I must find an opportunity for the two of us to escape- to a warmer climate hopefully and to do art together, swim, take long walks, and read to each other every night. Where? How?
    Well, now I know!!!
You have presented me with a wonderful dream. Thank you. I will be most excited about turning the dream into reality.

  407. I have always wanted to go to the ACE in Palm Springs. What an awesome opportunity for the whole family to get some lounge time by the pool and get our craft on too.
