Last week, we held a small brunch here in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of the BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages by Oh Joy!. It was fun getting to hang with friends and have a party inspired by the smallest item we have ever designed! We filled Elysian with tons of color, pattern, good food, and good friends. Here are a bunch of photos of all the details if you'd like to see…

The Oh Joy team made sure to get crafty with those BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages by Oh Joy!. So you can see how we used them in lots of spots including these table runners where we mixed them with washi tape…

The flowers by Twig and Twine added just the right touch of texture and natural color to the brunch making it feel fresh and summery. And, how amazing is that peony with two different colors in it?!?

Heirloom LA made a sit-down brunch full of color with seasonal dishes and a fruity mocktail that felt perfect for celebrating summer.

At the end, everyone got to fill their own First Aid Kit by Oh Joy! with a ton of different staples (such as BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages by Oh Joy!, NEOSPORIN® + Pain Relief Ointment, BAND-AID® Brand of First Aid Products Gauze and Tapes, and Extra Strength BENADRYL® Itch Stopping Cream).

It was such a fun afternoon to celebrate our newest collection for all those boo-boo's (big and small) in your life!

  1. JOY! You have the cutest dress on, and throw the most amazing events! I think all of us readers wish we were there. I am SO excited about the Oh Joy Bandaids I bought last week, I even received the free bag that goes along with it. Congrats on this collaboration ,and can’t wait to see where you go 🙂

  2. I LOVE these bandaids, Joy! I don’t know how a bandaid can make me happy, but they do. 🙂 The patterns are so sweet and cheerful. And this brunch?!?! Gorgeous! 🙂

  3. Kudos, chica — so happy for you! And that peony is INSANE. Definitely didn’t find one of those in the bunch I picked up from TJ’s this weekend.
p.s. how does this sweet LA girl get herself invited to one of these shindigs? 😉

  5. What a whimsically fabulous party! Just looking at the pictures makes me all giddy. Thanks for sharing! You look stunning in that gorgeous dress! :^)
(I must add… I got your Oh Joy! Band-Aids from Target.com the other day and I LOVE your designs, Joy. Thank you!)

  6. Hi Joy,
Congratulations on your fun collaboration with Band-Aid. Hope to check them out when I’m in Target soon 🙂
By the way, I love your dress and would like to know what size you wear?
    Thank you,
    Winnie

  7. I hope these are better quality than your Target picnic basket.
I went to use mine for the first time this past week and discovered it hadn’t even made it home in one piece- the hardware holding the handle on had fallen off on one corner. I fixed, super classy, with a zip tie. Went on my picnic and by the time I got home another piece of hardware had fallen off.
It had simply ridden in the car to a park, no hiking nothing extreme.
Of course Target with their terrible customer service wouldn’t take it back because- it was broken!
I took it to the Goodwill, I don’t keep garbage.

  8. Hi Beks,
I’m so sorry to hear about your issues with the basket. We haven’t heard about that issue before so it may have been a random occurrence. Since that collection was from last summer, unfortunately, we don’t have any more to replace for you. I’ll let Target know about your issue with the customer service.
Again, so sorry for the inconvience.
    Best,
    Joy

  9. Is there any way I can purchase an Oh Joy! First Aid Kit? I just got back from Peru and discovered my professor had one and fell in love with it. I have searched so many sources for it but still haven’t been able to find it for purchase. If you have an extra, I would love to purchase it! Thank you.
