If I had to describe summer in colors, it would be a mix of citrus-tones with fresh blues and gradients of color that signify the start of a new day. Today, we're celebrating the last month of summer with just that. I mean, these colors are INSANE…

If I could wear light caftan-like dresses like this year-round, I would. It feels like you're wearing your pajamas, yet it feels way more glamorous than PJs.

And who doesn't love a baby in a romper covered in fruit?!? She's literally edible now.

One my favorite LA-based artists, Kim West, does it again with this beautiful mural. Are the wolves scary or sweet? It's hard to say. But surrounded by those colors, I'd like to think they're nice guys…

  1. I just love your style, Joy! And I usually end up buying something listed in your “Dressing the babe” posts. Today it was a teething necklace. Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. I love these posts! Since I have a baby boy, I always cross my fingers that you’ll do another “if I had a boy” post with clothes, etc like you did a long while ago.

  3. Joy – I love these photos so much and am so enthralled at the great murals around LA. Would you be able to send me a list of locations? I’m headed there next week and would love to check some out!

  4. So my daughter’s birthday is coming up and my wife is obsessed with getting her a cool baby girl t-shirt. I don’t have any idea why but she put me in charge of that search. Needless to say I had to no idea what that even was so I wanted to thank you for your post. I found the tips very useful and now I will hopefully be able to impress my wife and get a great gift for my daughter!
