My Favorite Blogger Books

2015 is the year of the blogger books! (I’m guilty of that one, too). With so many books out by many of my friends and colleagues in the blogging world, I wanted to share some of my favorites from this year with you…

Blogger-books-5-kate-blog

A Hot Glue Gun Mess — from fashion to hair to home decor ideas, Mr. Kate offers fun and quirky DIY’s for the girl who likes to craft but needs a little help. Mixed in with her personal stories and anecdotes, it’s like a little piece of Kate in book form.

Design Mom Book

Design Mom — As a mother of six, Gabrielle Blair knows a thing or two about kids. This parenting guide mixed with an interiors book adddresses her own personal interiors style advice with how she and her family make use of the rooms in their house. And also snippets from her life with six kids gives me advice on topics I haven’t even dealt with yet.

Sage Living by Anne Sage

Sage Living — This is an interiors book with intention. After a rough patch and new phase of life, you can sense how therapeutic it was for Anne Sage to start her a fresh chapter of her life with a new home. She shares how she instills purpose within each room for both function and beauty.

Homemakers by Brit Morin

HomeMakers — This book is like the 101 for how to do just about everything in your home from boiling an egg to DIY projects for the home. By the modern tech girl/maker, Brit Morin, it’s easy-to-follow and covers a modern girl’s guide to knowing how to do lots of things yourself and would make a great gift for a new graduate starting life in her first apartment.

PlayfulMerrilee’s book is full of beautiful projects to make with kids are whimsical and chic and items you’d actually want to put in your own home. The styling in this book is just adorable.

See San Francisco — A beautiful photography journal of one of my favorite cities in the US. Capture by the eclectic and talented, Victoria Smith, it’s a visual stunner.

The New Bohemians by Justina Blakeney

The New Bohemians — A gorgeous interiors book for that boho, eclectic, jungalow look that Justina does so well. I love that with each home featured, a project inspired by the home follows for a real life way to help you bring a little inspiration from these real-life homes into your own space.

Weddings in Color

Weddings in Color — For anyone planning a wedding, every detail from shoes to bouquet to favors are covered this is beautifully organized book. Vané and Minhee did an amazing job of providing the perfect guide for every modern bride.

Styled by Emily Henderson

Styled — My go-to interior designer, Emily Henderson, takes everything in her brain and pours it into book full of useful and beautiful tips for making your home perfectly you.

Hello Tokyo

Hello Tokyo — I’m obsessed with Japanese style and love Ebony’s take on parties, crafts, and fashion with the sweetest details and ideas from clothing to gifts to stationery.
