…it's me…did anyone else totally miss out on getting Adele tickets like I did?
I wasn't allowed to go to concerts when I was a kid/teenager living with my parents. So I am catching up now big time (especially with boy bands from the 90's) and went to see Justin Timberlake, Hanson, New Kids on the Block/TLC/Nelly in the past year. This coming year, I'm taking the Oh Joy team to see Justin Bieber and going to see Britney and Janet with some of my girls. Concerts are just such a fun escape for me because I love experiencing this other world that is so different than my own.
Ok, back to Adele for a second. Do you remember back in the day when you could just go online and buy tickets like a normal person? Now, we have to try and get them before they sell out in 2 hours and eventually buy them from someone who got them before you and reselling them to make a quick buck! Ah….end of rant.

You must be a fun boss! These all sound fun. My husband and I are making an effort to see more shows this year because it’s something we loved doing together when we first met. Two girls later it’s a little more difficult but we are hoping to go see Dave Rawlings tonight if we can find a sitter. Enjoy!
Totally unrelated but I received the package in the mail yesterday with the cute little party hat mouse from your new collection as I was one of the survey winners. I just wanted to tell you how cute the packaging was and how much I loved the prompt delivery as soon as you announced the line! i was so sad the Adele concerts sold out so quickly!! I even tried to log on early too but it was still sold out by the time my turn was up!
Uh, can I buy these items in advance so that I’ll be prepared when I do have babies?! Such a lovely nursery collection!! Congrats, Joy!
hahaha I think those Adele tickets were more stressful than my kids.
When Adele tickets went on sale, 2 ladies in our office stopped working to buy tickets not only for them, but for other people in the office too. It was crazy! Concerts are fun, even though I don’t go very often 🙂 Happy Friday, have a great weekend!

Tickets for two arena shows in Vancouver sold out in 2 minutes. It’s just not possible without all the tickets being snapped up by the ticket reseller bots – it’s the only explanation! I feel your pain 😉
Still better than before internet when people camping outside in an actual line at the box office or at ticket master. Those were the days….
