Ice cream is my jam. So I always love trying new places and new spots that come onto L.A.'s booming ice cream scene (I can't believe I can even say it has an "ice cream scene" but it really does). Gresescent (gres-uh-suh-nt) has 24 flavors that they rotate between. They don't have cones, but rather maple waffle bowls, so that each flavor can be enjoyed separately. Their motto is to preserve the magic of the ice cream through the simplicity of their flavors that are different, yet familiar.
Some of our favorites included: Blackberry Mint Mojito, Pineapple Bourbon Caramel, Spiced Maple Pecan, and Rosemary Toffee.
All the maple waffle bowls are drizzled with maple syrup on top to make it crispier and sweeter. Just look at those slightly burnt edges which are sooo good!
No matter the flavor, the texture is thick and creamy and a perfect treat for a hot day…but really—let's be honest—for any day.
