How is it half-way through December already?!? If you're prepping for holiday visitors and entertaining, we have a fun table decor idea for you today! It's wintery and glittery and full of things that make adults happy and children sing…
You'll need:
– gold spray paint
– mod podge
- glitter
- pom poms
– optional: fabric dye
Here's how:
1. Spray paint pinecones gold. Let dry 20 minutes.
2. Paint the top half of the pinecone with mod podge and sprinkle with gold glitter. Let dry 10 minutes
3. Insert tiny pom-poms randomly in each pinecone. (We used white pom and dyed them with fabric dye to get the exact colors we wanted but you can use whatever you find.)
4. Nest pine cones on top of faux garland or at a place setting for a festive touch!

Wow! What a fun and creative idea. 🙂
This is so cute and simple! I love the poms! <3
Thank you!

This is seriously cute – it makes me wish that we were actually having company over for the holidays…beyond one of my little brothers who honestly doesn’t count at all – since he only moved out completely in July, and he’s back every weekend. -_- Or at least a part of him as we do his laundry. 😛
This is so simple yet fantastic! I love the idea (I am a great pompom fan…). Thanks for sharing.
Hi Joy! Would you please kindly share where those gold striped drinking glasses from?
Thank you,
Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
They are vintage 😉
