If you follow me on Instagram, you may know that we had quite a week last week as my husband was in the hospital after I had to rush him to the ER last Sunday night. It's a long story, but he had a health condition we didn't know about that is now thankfully being treated. He is back home with us and recovering and getting stronger and stronger every day.
After a week of going back and forth to the hospital and the agony of not knowing what fate had in store for our family and once Bob was home with us safe and sound with his parents in town to help us, I took the girls out to get their mind off of things for a few hours. We went on a mini adventure to the wild flower fields at Lake Elsinore…about an hour and a half outside of Los Angeles. Our friend and photographer, Bonnie Tsang, captured these photos that I wanted to share with you. They'll always remind us of the time that our family became even stronger and more grateful that we are here together to live this wonderful thing called life.

Kind of late commenting on this buuut, I read on Instagram that Bob was in the hospital but I had no idea why. You guys were in my thoughts and prayers. Being in the hospital/having a loved one in the hospital is scary stuff! I’m glad he’s better and being treated! I’ve commented on a few of your Instagram posts and I’ve mentioned that I’m a nurse. So as a nurse and a fan and supporter I’d just like to say: life is short, take it easy, be in the moment, and breathe.
