styling with large prints

I love large prints. Often people don't commit to large prints because 1) They are more expensive than smaller ones or 2) They don't know if they can commit to one statement piece. But if you fall in love with an image and could see it in your home for years to come, try a large print. They make a statement and set a tone in a space that you'll love. See a few ways to style them right here…

styling with large prints

1. Above the couch or over a day bed in living room. A large print is great for a cozy, reading nook. Large prints help to ground a room and can offer either more visual interest or, in this case, help to add calm to a space with a variety of furniture styles.

2. In a play room. A common mistake is choosing an art print that is too small, and large prints are great for a room with a lot of wall space to fill. While not every space on the wall needs to be filled, a large print is a great way to add artwork without making a room (that already has lots of things, like toys) feel too cluttered.

3. In a dining room. A large art print is great for a dining room because it fills the majority of the wall space that would be needed as a focal point near the dining table. This is a great place to put a print that has a special connection to you—either a print of a place you've been or artwork that really makes a connection with you in some way. That way, it also serves as a great point of conversation when having guests over for dinner.
