These covers look really practical but definitely take care using them.
In the olden days (I’m getting on a bit) we just slung a blanket over to keep them in the dark and sometimes to keep the sun off them, however recently I read something alarming about when you put a cover on to keep them ‘cool’ and shaded as many of us have done, the inside temperature under the cover can go up as much as 10 degrees from the outside temperature! Hence can be dangerous.
Frightening stuff, so watch how you use these things in hot cars or the sunshine for instance.

happy designs! how did you decide to go with Milk Snob vs. another small business like Covered Goods?
Hi! Our cover is made out of lightweight and breathable fabric. They have been safety tested in the U.S. and comply with safety regulations and requirements. That being said, we recommend being extra cautious and mindful during the hot summer months, and to always remove our cover from the car seat while in the car, regardless of the season! 🙂
