One of my favorite chocolate brands, Compartés, just opened a beautiful new shop! So we went on an Oh Joy Field Trip to the new Compartés store in Century City! It was designed by Kelly Wearstler and is STUNNING. Come take a look…
Jonathan Grahm, the owner and chocolate prodigy of Compartés, is so passionate about his work. In addition to designing the chocolate flavors, he also designs the packaging for every bar of his signature chocolates. The packaging is always also so bold, graphic, and quirky. I love how he'll be inspired by photos, textures, colors, and the story behind each flavor to create the vibrant imagery.
At the shop, there is even…wait for it…CHOCOLATE ON TAP! Both milk and dark chocolate flow out of a brass faucet and is used for freshly dipped fruit and other fresh concoctions.
One of my favorite treats here has got to be the Frozen Hot Chocolate! It's rich and decadent, but not too sweet. It truly tastes like a frozen version of hot chocolate and unlike any texture you've had before in a frozen treat. The optional toppings make for the perfect addition of sweetness to the chocolate mixture. Plus, it's pretty much an instant Instagram photo 😉
We had a blast going to see (and eating our way through) the Compartés shop! It's a perfect spot for a little pick-me-up for yourself or gifts for those you love. I always stock up on holiday and teachers gifts when I go. Thanks to Jonathan and his team for having us!

Mm frozen hot chocolate! I used to love having it in NYC. So glad there’s a place that has it here in LA now! And that font! So elegant and pretty.
