We love designated areas to craft, play, and experiment! So today, we've created the ultimate kid's craft room for your little one. It's packed with lots of color, fun supplies, books and more. No matter how big of a space you're working with (we love craft corners tucked away in the living room!), here are four tips to keep in mind when creating a creative space…

1. Storage! Shelving is key when designing a space that needs to be super organized at all times. Here, we hung three white shelves (at kid level) in a line to create a fun "craft supply bar" that children can easily access. We also included a colorful rolling cart that can move around as needed and house all of the essential supplies.

2. A spot to craft! Of course, a place to craft is essential to any crafting room. To make this kid-size craft table, we used a coffee table and mini stools! This table has shelves underneath for extra storage (yesssss!) to hold paper, books, and any other supplies that need to be tucked away quickly. For a fun twist, we painted the stools and tabletop contrasting colors. We wanted the space to inspire creativity and one simple way to do that is by adding in lots of COLOR!

3. A cozy place to get inspired! As all crafters know, sometimes you need to take a break from the arts and chill out. So here, we have a cozy reading nook! Again, it's all sized just right for your mini me with our little armchairs and end table.

4. A place to display artwork! We love the idea of showcasing children's artwork in the home, and creating a gallery wall right in the craft space is a fun way to do it. You can mix in inspiration pieces along with your little artist's masterpieces so they can see them as they create!
