This might be the coolest felt puzzle we've seen! And, guess what?! They were bird houses before we turned them around! With a little bit of felt and velcro, we transformed them into something super colorful and fun for kids to play with over and over again. They remind us of a cross between paper dolls and felt boards, and we are here for it. Here's how to make your own…

You'll need…
– wooden bird houses (camperpirate ship)
felt
– scissors
velcro stickers

Here's how…
1. Turn the birdhouse face down onto felt, and loosely trace whatever section you'd like (sails, windows, flags, etc.)
2. Cut out with scissors.
3. Stick velcro onto back of the felt and onto the birdhouse so they line up when placed together.

Then, you can take the pieces off for a fun and interactive game for little ones. And, when not in use, it serves as colorful decor for their room!

These are super easy to make, and your kids can help, too! You can also make them and give them as gifts, OR let it be a fun birthday party activity that the kids can make and take home afterwards as party favors!

  1. So cute, too bad the camper is sold out at all our stores. But I think I prefer the pirate ship anyway.
