It's all in the little details! So today, we're showing you how to take a plain t-shirt and give it an extra, yet easy, detail. It's a fun project for a craft night in, to make as a gift, or to add to an older shirt that you want to give new life to. Check it out…
You'll need…
– shirt (ours is past season from Madewell)
– embroidery floss
– embroidery needle
Here's how…
1. Starting with first embroidery color, knot the end, and use a simple loop stitch to wrap the hem of a shirt by the neck, sleeve, or waist.
2. Repeat with each color to make a color blocked section, varying the location and width of each color block.
We picked a subtle design and complementary colors on ours, but you can go big and add even more if you want!

A very nice way to embroidered your t-shirt! I really like your design and will surely try out it with my client as well.
