In honor of Women’s History Month, here’s our next feature of some academy students who are rising in their fields and whose names you should get to know. Meet Best Today and Mommy Organized!

Best Today was created by Shunta Grant. Her company works to equip women with resources to be intentional with their time – something we all need but now more than ever. The signature product, The Best Today Guide, is a 14-week paper guide that women use weekly, daily and nightly to plan with intention.
Says Shunta: “We launched our product on March 16, 2020 so March is a very special month for us. But, if you do the math you’ll also see that we launched at the beginning of feeling the effects of a global pandemic in our homes. It was the first day of school closings for us, many were beginning to suffer job loss, and here I was bringing a brand new product into life in the midst of that. I was able to overcome what looked like the worst timing by sticking to the mission of our company and help women trade busy for intention. My June delivery date was pushed to September which meant that many women went six months waiting for their products. So I did the next best thing and created a digital program, Right Now Routine, to begin helping women right where they were and sold over 500 in the first two weeks. Thousands have since gone on to join the program. In September when the Best Today Guides finally arrived from overseas, so many women said it was the perfect timing as school was resuming. Also, a testament to our amazing customers, we did not receive a single complaint or refund request from the women who placed orders in March and April before we knew about the shipment delay. They waited patiently and believed in the product!”
Shunta had a one-on-one business consult when Best Today™ wasn’t even a business yet! Since then, they’ve sold out of their first shipment in less than 3 months and are currently on their third and largest shipment to date – with two new employees. Congrats Shunta!
Trisha Hebron is the owner of Mommy Organized, a San Diego based professional organizing company helping busy moms get their homes in order. What was once a hands-on business Trisha has been able to turn into a virtual service now available everywhere! (All you have to do if be willing to show her your mess 😉
Says Trisha: “I take pride in what this past year has taught me, from being a resource in the middle of a pandemic, to the relationships I’ve built with women who have been so welcoming and trusting. I’ve also started connecting with myself, not just as a mom who loves to organize, but as a Filipino-American mom navigating the business world altogether, with little family know-how on the basics of running a business. On top of that, my immigrant parents still don’t understand what I do because for them, coming from a third world country implies that you saved every single thing as a necessity for life. So, bridging their past with the abundance of my generation has been quite the balance act, but it’s what I have come to absolutely love and enjoy.
Trisha attended our last in-person licensing class before the pandemic. Since then, she has appeared on a TV news segment to share tips on optimizing the home for distance learning, and she has created organizing content on TikTok as a Tiktok partner! Congratulations Trisha – keep up the amazing work!
