One of my biggest pieces of advice when you're starting, growing, or just maintaining your business is to read, meet, and learn from others who have done it before and who might give you a little nugget of inspiration to help you in your own work. That's why I love books like this and why I loved writing this.
SO I wanted to share a couple upcoming conferences that I'm really excited to be a part of: LTD next Thursday January 13th in Pasadena, CA and Alt Summit in Salt Lake City from January 19-22nd. Both conferences have a slew of people I'm super excited to see and learn from, and I'm looking forward to getting a chance to share some of my experiences with you! At LTD, I'll be on two panels: one chatting about social media marketing & branding and another about having a product-based business and licensing your work. Then, at Alt I'll be part of a panel on Social Media Ethics and Etiquette with Grace and Emily, as well as a Creative Freelancer round table with Meg. Can't wait to see and meet those of you who are coming to either conference!
