Sometimes trends come in and out, and I don’t give them a second look. I like it if I like it, but I don’t like it just because it’s a trend. However, there’s one trend I fell hard for this year…checkers! The print is bold, graphic, and fun. Here are a few ways I’m wearing checkered pieces right now…

Outfit 1 – Hot Check Autumn
I don’t naturally gravitate towards fall tones, so I love adding something more graphic to the look—like this bold fleece checkered jacket. Add some boots or flats, and it’s fun and fresh!

Outfit 2 – I’ll Have the Check Please!
This knit dress is head-to-toe checkered out, and I love it. To help layer in some solids, I’ve added these pink boots and a denim duster for a fun look for a dinner out with friends.

Outfit 3 – Cool Check
Adding a sweater to a sparkly skirt is one of my favorite Fancy Casual combos. It brings the party, but you also feel covered up enough to stay warm this time of year.
